Residential Homes
We first designed Solar Operated Gate Openers in 1984. Since then lots of time and massive amounts of development has gone into the making of a reliable Letron Gate opening system that is suited to Australian harsh conditions.
Industrial Use
In 2004 the Letron brand was created and a manufacturing plant established in Malaysia. Our stock is kept in our warehouse and distribution centre in Bayswater Victoria then freighted daily to Brisbane and surrounds to order.
Farms
We recognized that the residence on farms and acreage properties are often a considerable distance from the front gate. To run a hard wire from the nearest power source to the front gate to automate would soon become cost prohibitive, hence the availability of our solar option. Letron solar systems are a very low amperage (12v and 9amp) and require very little constant sun and in fact will open and shut gates up to 40 times in one day! I often comment, that if this occurring I might have to take the keys off the owner! This power source is all enclosed in the one compact unit!

How much does it cost?
To simplify and streamline our offer, clients are offered fully operational sliding, swing, solar powered or hard wired automation packages to get you well and truly up and running ,starting from less than $1400.
Clients then have the opportunity to add extra options to suit their particular needs and circumstances - e.g. wireless keypads, extra remotes, ball hinges, electronic gate locks etc. A number of these options can very easily be added at a later date to suit your budget and changing needs.
Auto Gate Solutions do not manufacture gates, however we are able to recommend trusted and proven gate manufacturers if requested. Gate prices can vary enormously from a basic farm gate to very elaborate and expensive designs.
Auto Gate Solutions do recognize that clients are sometimes time poor and would prefer a 'complete package' solution of automation, gate manufacture ( to clients specifications and budget) and installation, which we are happy to organize.
How long does installing take?
Delivery of the automation componentry is within 5-7 business days of receipt of payment. Orders are generally dispatched out of the Letron warehouse in Victoria.
Note: this of course does not take into account any delays incurred in a possible gate manufacture. We do provide very comprehensive installation instructions for our gate automation systems, in fact the majority of all our sales are generally installed by the client.
However, if you are time poor or would prefer contracting that out, we have a team of experienced sub contractors who will complete that task, generally offering a 1yr installation warranty for peace of mind.
